Carla Moreno was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico, and came to this country at age 18 to find the “American Dream” with only $500 in her pocket and the grit to prove that she could make it.
Carla knows that it means to work hard and dream big. She became an entrepreneur shortly after arriving in the US, opening her first business at age 19 in the medical industry. She graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Psychology and Pre-Med while still operating her business.
During her gap year, she learned about real estate and land development and found her place. She has been in the industry for over 5 years. In that time, Carla became the Seattle Chapter President of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals in 2020, and has been involved in land development, investing in commercial properties, acquiring multiple Airbnb properties using the BRRRR method, and coaching on how to use real estate investing to achieve financial freedom.
She was awarded a top 10 agent award during her first year in real estate and continues to be a top producer in her company every quarter. Her ambition is to help close the racial wealth gap by increasing minority homeownership in a sustainable way. In 2020, she became the Seattle President for the organization NAHREP (National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals) and became a Speaker for the Hispanic Wealth Project to teach the NAHREP 10 Disciplines.
